In the face of school closures and extracurricular cancellations during the COVID-19 pandemic, The Covid NineTEEN Project aims to combat growing educational inequities by providing FREE daily teen-led activities and one-on-one tutoring to support elementary school students. Our teen volunteers serve as mentors for elementary school children to help them fill their time and ensure they continue to flourish despite the uncertainty of the outside world.
We now have over 800 students in 14 different countries and over 250 teen mentors hosting 50+ activities per week, with programs in 15 different languages!
As of January 1st, 2021: We have hosted 3200+ activities and 4500+ one-on-one tutoring sessions throughout 35 weeks of programming!
